No. You can only transfer money from a U.S. account that you own and that uses U.S. dollars as its currency.

No. You must be the primary owner or a joint owner of the external account or otherwise be authorized by all of the owners of the account to operate the external account in order to add it to your profile and transfer funds to it. You can, however, transfer funds to someone using the “Pay a Person” option within Bill Pay.

The cutoff time for external transfers is 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Transfers made outside of this window or on weekends or holidays may not be processed or sent until the next business day.

Please allow 1-3 business days for your external transfer to be completed.

In most cases, external accounts can be verified and linked instantly. If your other financial institution can't be verified automatically, you can still choose the manual entry option and link your account using your routing and account number. This process takes about 1-3 business days.

To add an external account, log in to Solarity online or mobile banking, go to "Transfers and Payments" and select "External Transfers" in the drop-down menu.

Click "Manage external accounts" and "Link External Account." Follow the prompts to instantly link your external account.

If your financial institution isn't listed or can't be verified automatically, you can choose manual entry and link your account using your routing and account number. This process takes about 1–3 business days.

You are eligible to make an external transfer if:

  1. you are 18 years of age or older,
  2. you have a street address on file with us (P.O. Boxes are not eligible),
  3. you have a Solarity personal checking, savings or money market account or an eligible Solarity mortgage, loan, line of credit or other personal account and
  4. you have an eligible external account at another U.S. financial institution.

An external deposit account at another U.S. financial institution is eligible as long you are:

  1. the primary owner of the external account,
  2. a joint owner of the external account, or
  3. authorized by all owners of the external account to transfer funds to or from the external account.
