Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Community Shred Day and Food Drive at our Selah branch!
We were excited to welcome members and neighbors for a day focused on protecting personal information while supporting a great local cause.
By the end of the event, attendees filled 52 bins of paper, nearly reaching the shred truck's capacity. Every box of old financial records, tax documents and other confidential paperwork represented one more step toward helping protect against identity theft while keeping recyclable paper out of the landfill.
The generosity didn't stop there. Community members also donated enough non-perishable food to fill one of our Solarity vehicles for the Selah-Naches Food Bank, helping stock shelves for local families in need.

Guests enjoyed complimentary shaved ice while they waited, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere throughout the day and giving neighbors a chance to connect with one another and our team.
The success of our first Community Shred Day and Food Drive showed just how much our community values opportunities to give back while taking simple steps to protect themselves from fraud and identity theft. We're already looking at ways to bring similar events to other Solarity branches throughout our region so even more members and neighbors can participate.
Thank you to everyone who helped make our first Community Shred Day and Food Drive such a success. We look forward to seeing you at future community events!
