We are beyond honored to share that Solarity employees have been named the 2025 recipients of the Emily Harris Award of Excellence, presented by YWCA Yakima.

This meaningful award was presented during the Yakima Mile event on June 7 and celebrates our team's collective efforts to support survivors of domestic violence in our community through donations and other contributions to YWCA Yakima.

Named in memory of Emily Harris, whose life was tragically taken by domestic violence, the award recognizes individuals and organizations that go above and beyond in supporting the YWCA’s mission to create a safer, more empowered future for survivors and their families.

Over the past year, Solarity employees have shown up in so many ways—volunteering their time, donating resources, raising awareness and standing strong beside YWCA Yakima in its critical, life-changing work.

“We are incredibly humbled to receive the Emily Harris Award,” said Mina Worthington, our President and CEO. “This recognition belongs to every Solarity employee who has stepped up to support the YWCA’s mission. It speaks to the power of community and what we can accomplish when we work together for a cause bigger than ourselves.”

We’re grateful for the opportunity to support YWCA Yakima and their incredible work, which includes providing emergency shelter, legal advocacy, children’s services and long-term support for survivors—all aimed at breaking the cycle of domestic violence.
